Founded by Douglas Horning in 1988, Douglas Electric has expanded to include family members, including his son, laying the foundation of a family-like culture and reinforcing a pride in the company’s work.
This second generation family-run business recruits only the top talent from a combination of accredited Trade schools and local programs to grow their team year after year. The company invests in their team by offering continuing education to promote state of the art knowledge, up to date accreditations, and opportunities to advance. Turnover is low and morale is high.
Today the Douglas Electric Co. offers a fully equipped service department which includes a fleet of service vans that are fully stocked for most general job needs and day to day wiring, repair and maintenance projects, and are run by a team of experienced technicians that take pride in their service and trade.
